When a leading healthcare organization set out to design its new flagship facility, the vision extended far beyond standard clinical spaces. The client’s goal was to create a warm, hospitality-inspired environment that prioritized both healthcare providers and patients—one that felt more like a boutique hotel or residence than a traditional medical building. Alongside this aesthetic objective, they required sustainable product solutions, a strict project timeline, and minimal construction change orders, relying on our team to provide flexible, design-forward furniture options that could adapt as the project evolved.
From the start, our team collaborated closely with the client to bring their vision to life through mockup spaces and multiple rounds of product and finish reviews. We specified environmentally conscious materials that supported their sustainability goals while ensuring each furniture piece reflected the brand’s identity and long-term strategy. Since this was the first of a three-building campus, every design element was thoughtfully curated to integrate seamlessly with future construction. Key product installations included height-adjustable desks, ergonomic chairs, and storage in administration and private offices; doctors’ offices and telehealth spaces; stools for exams and nursing tasks; reception stations; breakroom chairs and tables; training room flip-top tables and nesting chairs; and durable lockers and storage within the facility.
In addition to the core workspaces, we provided functional and inviting furnishings for high-traffic and communal areas, including waiting room seating, outdoor furniture, and lounge pieces for an autism-friendly sensory room. Our team managed all product procurement and installation, keeping the project on schedule and within scope. We also helped mitigate potential construction delays by offering furniture-driven solutions in place of architectural change orders. The end result is a sophisticated, patient-centered facility that reflects the client’s values and sets the tone for the remaining phases of their expanding campus.
