Headquartered in Torrance, California, DocMagic is a leading mortgage technology company known for transforming document automation, compliance, and digital lending solutions across the United States.

The Vision

After more than two decades in the same facility, DocMagic set out to create a new headquarters that would reflect its evolution as a leader in mortgage technology. The goal was to design a workplace that embodies the company’s digital-first identity while enhancing day-to-day performance, collaboration, and employee experience.
 
The challenge was to translate a highly technical, virtual business into a physical environment. The design needed to communicate precision, data flow, and innovation—while supporting the functional needs of a growing team.
 
This was an opportunity to create a space that not only performs efficiently but also visually represents the company’s role as a pioneer in its industry.

The space was carefully planned to support both focused work and collaborative interaction, while reinforcing the company’s brand identity through architecture and materiality.
 
Open workspaces were connected through sculpted pathways and light-driven design elements, creating a sense of movement and flow that reflects the transmission of digital information. Collaborative zones and meeting areas were strategically integrated to support communication and team interaction.

Project Management

bluespace interiors led coordination across furniture, procurement, and installation, ensuring alignment with both design intent and operational timelines. The project was executed in phases to accommodate business continuity while transitioning into the new headquarters.
 
Close collaboration with design partners and contractors ensured that every detail—from lighting integration to spatial flow—was delivered with precision and consistency.
 
The result is a highly intentional, performance-driven workplace that reflects DocMagic’s identity as a technology leader—where design, efficiency, and innovation work seamlessly together.
